My favorite are muscle cars. I also like the cars from the 50s with fins and lots of chrome on them. What is your favorite?

I've had:
'58T-Bird
'63 Chevy SS
'65 Ford Mustang
'72 Toyota CoronaMarkII
'72 Porsche
'73 BMW
'69 Z-28 (correction)
'79 280 Z
'83 Bronco
'89 Buick La Sabre (gift-ugh, so embarrassing)
'96 Bronco
'03 Acura 3.2 Type S

What I really loved was the T-Bird... the kind where the roof folds into the trunk.
What I really want is an older Bugati. .... but the Acura is a cool car.
Next time around may be American.

Boy Debra that brings back memories.. I had a 64 Rambler back in 74-75 and I swear it had a personality of its own. I clearly remember it has a transmission that refused to move until it was completely warmed up. I always had to go out about 5 minutes early to warm up the engine to be sure it would be ready to go when I was. LOL. And that was here in Florida... I loved that little car.

I've had more cars than I can list here.
I also had a '69 rambler scrambler--remember the red/white/ and blue ones with the 390 V-8 and 4-speed? That was a fun car to drive back in the hot-rod days. Not as fast as my 69-Z/28, but pretty quick none the less. If I still had those cars today, they'd be worth a fortune.

I had the red/white one, I had painted an american flag on the hood and "slow but sure" on the rear bumper because after a couple years of pulling U-hauls back and forth to missouri , it didn't go fast up a hill anymore..
then I had a 72 buick , next a 65 ford fairlane, a 76 buick, a 78 or 79 chevy nova,a 78 buick, an 81 chevette, a 91 chevy cavalier rs 2 door, a 91 chevy eurosport wagon, a 98 honda oddessy, a 98 honda civic, now 96 Buick park avenue, and a 2009 Honda Civic. Joe drives a 2007 f150 and a 96 merc couger red, still shiny like the buick, both old cars are like new.. sheese. the rambler, the nova and the chevette were my favorite cars.

I agree with flgardengurl, I love muscle cars. At the moment, I own a 1981 corvette coupe and hope to buy a newer one next year Thumbs up . The older cars are so easy to work on, and there are so many parts out there for them Smiling

My Dad was a mechanic when I was growing up and taught me to do alot of my own simple repairs but he hated it when the new cars came out with all the electronic and computer stuff. The older cars were so much easier to fix.
