| Well it's tomorrow. The bread is excellent. I didn't actually make a Ciabatta shape though but a Baguette. We're having Spaghetti tomorrow night and wanted some Garlic Bread. So one bake, two meals...lol! Great Crust and I twisted the dough when forming. This caused a denser crumb than the usual Ciabatta which will be perfect for the Garlic Butter. Thanks Phyl! Ric

| Whoops Sorry Susan and THANKS! Phyl I used the Hook though not the BM. Ciabatta means Carpet Slipper in Italian and the loaf is supposed to look like one. The wet dough causes a very loose crumb. But formed into a tapered tube this dough does great as a Baguette. Tip on Baguettes: As you are shaping the dough twist it a few times like wringing a washrag. | Does anyone have a recipe for multi-grain ciabatta rolls? I picked up some delicious rolls from Fresh Market, they're perfect for a roasted vegetable sandwich, and I'm sure they're full of fiber, all sorts of grains and seeds in the bread, and on top. But, I'd like to make them myself if I can find a recipe! |
