| LOVE ALL THE BANANAS!!! I got my 'Texas Star' as a birthday gift from my hubby from TyTy Nursery. It is a 'crap shoot' with what an actual Texas Star is, but I am happy with the growth & cold hardiness of the banana so far! I have a small sword pup, but it's only 10 inches high...not even close to ready for separating from the Mother plant yet. :smily: ~Cheryl |

| hello everyone! i am growing dwarf orinoco and ice cream bananas in pots. i am trying them in the fabric pots. i just ordered a 30-gal pot for the dwarf orinoco. here is a pic of the dwarf orinoco pups coming back from underground after the freeze. ![]() here is the mother plant. i cut it back after the freeze along with the pups. it starting pushing out growth and then stalled. it looks like it is a goner. ![]() they are in an 18-gal container and will be moving to a 30-gal fabric pot. i wonder if they are getting too much full sun this early on. the color seems faded. |
