Birding in Western Washington forum: ROBIN'S FIRST SONGS

I was awakened this morning by a robin's song in my yard. According to "Journey North", the robins only start their songs when they have reached "their" territory and are trying to establish the boundaries. This is pretty much on schedule with my notes from previous years, in spite of the fact that we have had unseasonably early spring weather.
