I feel so bad about the weather everyone else is experiencing.....and guilty because ours is so nice, for once!
But right now what I feel MOST is claws in my leg, so I'd better go let the cat out before it gets ugly......
As usual a lot of great pictures.
sorry y'all are all having overly hot weather.
We have been having a little cooler that normal. Still hot out in full sun but nice in the shade.
Just put a order in on the co op for a LOT of bulbs. LOL
here is a picture it was way to dark but I decided to play with it and it came out like this, kind of like it.
We have been so fortunate the last two days; temps in the high 70's! Teeny sprinkle this pm, but our idiot weather forecaster person (I swear I'm going to kill that girl someday!) brightly chirped that the weekend will be in the 90's again "really nice summer weather" she calls it. Can I kill her? Please? Can I kill her?
Confidence is that feeling you have right before you do something really stupid.

Just got home from the hospital visiting uncle who will be removed from life support soon. Three people claiming to have power of attorney, and the rest of us don't know who to believe. Nasty, nasty, nasty.

Good for you Sandy. I put up with computer problems for many, many months before finally getting a new desk top in January and it has just about changed my life.
thanks, the missing "t" key is bad enough but the other problems are also getting to me. If I was not afraid of hurting my already messed up feet more I would drop kick this thing out the door.
I will be here more often when I get the new one plus I can get back to writing.
Do y'all know how often we need to use the letter "t"??? Why could it not be a "z" or a "Q" key that broke!!!!
I know what you mean Sandy. I need a new keyboard. My "option" key doesn't work. It's a very important key when using Photoshop and all the other keys stick, maaaaaaakes for a hard time typing.
We lost power Wednesday evening. Hubby and I sat on the patio in the dark and watched Buster trying to catch moths hanging around the solar lights. Cheap thrills. By the time the power came back on around 11:45 p.m., the solor lights had poop out and I was out of candles. How ironic it was sitting among all the, two-million dollar each, windturbines and we are in the dark. At least it was quiet for once.
I tried to do some watering last night, but the sqeeters got the best of me. I have so many weeds, it overwhelming. This heat is supposed to last another couple days. Had to take mom to the doctor yesterday. Had a lovely 30 mile trip in my unairconditioned car with the windows down. I looked like Beulah the soggy, fuzzy witch when I got to her house. You ladies with naturally curly hair know what I mean!
Sharon, there must be lurkers/web crawlers searching Cubits. After writing about all my troubles with my mom and mooching family members, a spam email re: elder care slipped through my spam blocker. Damn spies .
Have to travel again today in this heat. It's Anna's birthday. One of her birthday requests was to have dad unplug her bathroom sink drain, not clothes or jewelry. It's too hot to turn the oven on to make a cake, so I'll be her garden slave for the day until I melt. Buster will be coming with so he can play with Olive. Family day!
Love all the flower and reptile pictures. All I ever get around here are toads.
