The daffodils are finished. The forsythias are ablaze with golden glory. People's yards are covered with blankets of shedding tulip tree blooms and the redbuds are quickly filling out. Plum trees are covered with beautiful, delicate pink blooms and we are praying we don't get a late killin' frost. It will soon be time to hit the hills looking for morels. I sure hope my "molly mooching" is more successful this season.

Nice to hear that, Cajun. Just got the same report from my brother this morning. Makes me a little homesick for my mountains. I've been working in the yard all day, feels good!

A beautiful story Sharon! The pictures were wonderful too! We are starting with forsythia and daffodils. The crocus is done already. We had no snow to speak of all winter either, and we're the Midwest! I've never seen it happen before. I think there were plenty of weather stories all around the world. I was watching the geese coming in in droves earlier this spring and I thought about them as if I were a ''cave-man'' or Indian, and I felt the swell in my heart as I thought they did. Spring. Could anything be more perfect? A small town has no secrets except itself

No early Spring here, Shar. Love your Wisteria. This is as close as we can come to a colorful tree here in Alaska. Hmmm....What shall we call this one? A WISHteria maybe?... ![]() "Every flower is a soul blossoming in nature." Gerard De Nerval

Oh I remember that tree!! How fun. The picture I have was made in June though, so not nearly as 'wishful' as in the snow. Thanks Ava!
