Where do we start? Fargo The Big Lebowski O Brother, where Art Thou? (I laughed my head off within the 1st five minutes) Intolerable Cruelty Burn After Reading A Serious Man Raising Arizona and some that weren't comedies: No Country for Old Men Miller's Crossing The 1st 3 are in my top favorites. I like their style. They are also remaking 'True Grit', my DS informed me.

I have seen Fargo and Raising Arizona but none of the others you listed. I did like both of those.

Fargo was fantastic (one of my favorite movies), but I could not get through Burn After Reading! "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." - Dr. Seuss

I admit that one was.. different. I loved Brad Pitt's character though. Did anyone see 'O Brother, Where Art Thou'? A seriously funny movie. Not offensive at all, just plain funny. George Clooney is in it, I love him in a comedic role.

Did anyone notice the scene in Burn after Reading ,when Brad Pitts character got into the car with John Malkovitch? Malkovitch said something like "Well- - - Mr.Black?is it ?" I dont have the greatest memory anymore but remembered Brad Pitt was Mr. Black in the film Mr.Black. That was the funniest part of Burn after reading. My Coen list i : Fargo Raising Arizona Oh Brother where art thou No Country for Old Men I havnt sen Millers Crossing and its great news about True Gritt

Meet Joe Black. That was a good movie. I have to admit, my favorite is The Dude ~ The Big Lebowski. John Goodman made that movie, it wouldn't be the cult classic it is without him. After that, it's definitely Fargo.

Talk about BIG stars.John Goodman has doubled in size. He hosts a food program. Wonder why LOL

Not any more! Have you seen him lately? http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20408079,00.html He's shrinking. Alma In matters of style, swim with the current; in matters of principle, stand like a rock. – Thomas Jefferson

Maybe it's a healthy food program. Lookin' good.
|

Thats good news,he looks great. The food program was NOT health foods but extreeme meals full of beef and fried stuff. The sandwich I remembered was a BLT with a cheeseburger inside it,then the whole thing was fried.I had to stop watching.

As someone who has to go into denial in order to maintain decent blood sugar,I cant watch those shows either. Any other memories of Coen Brothers movies?

I'll have to think on it a minute. Did you see "A Serious Man"? That was pretty good. One of those understated comedies. Speaking of, I heard a few years ago about a Japanese (I think) woman who thought 'Fargo' was a true story. She came over here to search for the money and ended up freezing to death out in that field. 'Intolerable Cruelty' was good. Did you see that? Not great, but definitely enjoyable.

I havnt seen the above. The last Coen movie I saw was Burn After Reading. It was pretty good but dragged a bit.
