DH and I went to see this movie this past weekend. He has never read any of the books; I have read them all.

We both agreed that this movie was definately *much* better than Deathly Hallows Part 1 (which neither of us think bears watching a second time). This movie had plenty of action, of course, and follows the book fairly closely. As with all movies based on books, there are parts left out, but nothing that would have prevented you from following the main story line.

There are plenty of reviews on the internet on this movie, and most are fairly favorable.
