It's a male Chaffinch, Fringilla coelebs. They are ground feeders, I often see them below the peanut feeder waiting for bits to drop but they come for the grain I put out too.

Pararge aegeria is correct, a deeper colour from your area, there are variations here.

http://www.learnaboutbutterflies.com/Britain - Pararge aeger...

Nice to have seen Iphiclides podalirius again, nice shots!

The bumble is probably Bombus lapidarius, but I have to be careful as you have so many more than we have and there are others with varying forms that look like this. I love to see them covered in pollen too.

The last isn't a bee, it's a fly in the family Syrpidae, a bee mimic. Everyone gets tricked with these when they first notice them! It's an Eristalis sp. but to say which is not so easy, you need to see more details such as the front feet and face but I think you have a few more than we have. I have got keys but a lot of detail needs to be seen, very close detail sometimes.

Beautiful bug C! This one is very rare here..

http://www.britishbugs.org.uk/heteroptera/Pyrrhocoridae/p_ap...

I saw a red and black one this year, in fact I saw two! Corizus hyoscyami which is increasing it's range here but I haven't heard of any more northerly than I am.

http://www.britishbugs.org.uk/heteroptera/Rhopalidae/corizus...

The snail might have been parasitised by a fly, flies in the family Sciomyzidae lay their eggs on snails. I've checked the site and it looks to me like Fruticicola fruticum, the species listed for Europe..

Thank you Janet. Even fpr snails it is more difficult than I thought. Will have to clean up this one and have a better pics but it does loook like for sure Fruticicola fruticum. I love shells of snails.
Pyrrhocoris apterus are quite common here.
