I have had this up a few years and never seen a butterfly near it. (Dudley was just posing he is not normally perched there)
It adds nice color to the garden but I don't know if the butterfly's care.

Nope, they don't work but they sure are pretty. I had some in my yard for decoration and the wasps made nests in them. Also some photos of a green anole that camped out in one - guess it thought a butterfly might actually use it?!

My idea of housework is to sweep the room with a glance.
