Truth should be everpresent.
Getting any eggs during winter here is hit and miss. They had quit laying al together but now I am picking up a few eggs a day for a week or so now. I am so happy. Can't wait til Spring when they all start laying again and the pullets join the fray.

We, of course, don't have real winters like you do, but my girls haven't
slowed down yet this year. I think I am supplying half the neighborhood with eggs!

I was doing really good before the molt and cold weather. I was giving away eggs at every church service.

I picked up 5 eggs today.

I'm so jealous!! My little RIRs are only 12 weeks old, so I have a while before the first egg.

My new babies are just starting to lay. The older girls have slowed down a lot with all this cold weather!!

My youngest should be old enough to lay soon but I'm not expecting them to start til Spring. They are red sex links and will be good layers.
