You're welcome. I'm making a banner right now for Lent. A previous Anglican had been horrified that the pastor had said Hallelujah on a Sunday, and they had a long theological talk about it. She said it was blasphemous to say it during Lent. He said it was alright to say it anytime. It turns out they're both right........ Every Sunday in Lent is like a "mini-Easter" and you can say Hallelujah, or Alleluiah on that day, just not the rest of the week. The banner I'm making has LENT 6 places (for 6 days of the week) and an ALLELUIAH in the middle It would have been great to have it up yesterday, but I was not able to go to service. It WILL be up this next Sunday, and including April 3rd, it will stay up. Aren't customs interesting? Lent is not a Biblical requirement, btw - it is a custom used to honour Jesus' temptation in the wilderness.

Here's a poem I was given to, by a DG friend: Dancing With God When I meditated on the word Guidance, I kept seeing "dance" at the end of the word. I remember reading that doing God's will is a lot like dancing. When two people try to lead, nothing feels right. The movement doesn't flow with the music, and everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky. When one person realizes that, and lets the other lead, both bodies begin to flow with the music. One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back or by pressing Lightly in one direction or another. It's as if two become one body, moving beautifully. The dance takes surrender, willingness, and attentiveness from one person and gentle guidance and skill from the other. My eyes drew back to the word Guidance. When I saw "G": I thought of God, followed by "u" and "i". "God, "u" and "i" dance." God, you, and I dance. As I lowered my head, I became willing to trust that I would get guidance about my life. Once again, I became willing to let God lead. My prayer for you today is that God's blessings and mercies are upon you on this day and everyday. May you abide in God, as God abides in you. Dance together with God, trusting God to lead and to guide you through each season of your life. This prayer is powerful and there is nothing attached. If God has done anything for you in your life, please share this message with someone else. There is no cost but a lot of rewards; so let's continue to pray for one another. And I Hope You Dance Through 2010! Isn't it great?!?!?

Wow! You are not going to believe this. I copied and pasted the Dancing with God in my email to send to others. Well wait a minute. Before I tell you I'll let you see for yourself. Go to your email program and past it in a new e-mail then highlight it all and then hit the center button to center it on the page. Tell me what you see in the outline.
