It's been a beautiful spring day here today. Found these wildflowers blooming on our walk today. Anyone know what they might be? Not very tall, about 4 inches if that, in the edge of woods mulched with leaves. Going back tomorrow to get a picture of the whole patch which isn't very big.

I DON'T know what they are but I too have a whole bunch that come up along the edge of the woods (not up yet this year though). Every year, I plan to fork some to put in with my little garden of other woodland things but so far have gotten top busy and don't get it done. They are so lovely, they will do well with my trilliums I think because both bloom about the same time, then the jack-in-the pulpets and others begin. I always forget the names of everything though....sheesh!
