here is what i found on google

a glitch with Facebook's servers, not your computer. Nginx ( http://nginx.org/en/ ) is a web server program.
In other words, it sits on computers at Facebook HQ, and sends Facebook web pages to your computer when you browse there.

Oh, and FYI, Nginx is pronounced "Engine X"

Thanks, Dick..I don't do Facebook, never go there...it did pop up immediately after posting something on craigslist, don't know if that's relevant. I hadn't put together the pronunciation yet....lol...makes sense. My son got rid of it, I thought by switching from google to yahoo, but it popped up again on yahoo and the son is gone for a week...can you tell that he's my pc tech? I did some checking on it before it fully took over my browser again and found that it's a server, but not yet found exactly how to get rid of it. One source says it can be found in add-ons and by disabling one at a time, learn which one is causing the problem...right now I just want to kick whoever is respoinsible....lol.
