HP laptop - want to remove battery to test the Dell Vostro 3750 Laptop Keyboard as it has got keyboard issues - some keys not working, and the 'e' key is auto typing. I read online it could be battery related so I wanted to test the keyboard without the battery. However, the laptop won't start that way. Any explanation. Your help is greatly appreciated - I choose a best answer.

Thanks.
