I made my leaf out of vinyl concrete patch it is expensive but I have made leaves and they have held up very well. I leave them out in the winter and just turn them over so they don't hold water and freeze. Hopefully I can post a picture here. Not to good doing this. Pat B.
I had written a tutorial on a different Cubit for making cement leaves, if you're interested. Lots of chat on the thread, but the first few posts are the tutorial.
Go to Garden Gate Magazine site and on the right hand side when it opens is Cast a birdbath in sand video and it will give you the instructions. The leaf I used was from a Castor Bean plant. Pat
