Oh wow that temp seems like a faraway dream, right now. You will have to soak it up for the rest of us up here in the colder regions. Sigh wouldn't it be lovely for just a day right now.
My wife and I did a nurse travel assignment down in Florida Jan-April before we had kids. Couldn't understand why no one was at the pool or Ocean while it was 60 degrees. We were loving it. Only ones tanning and swimming in the pool and Ocean...the only people that were at either had jackets on. We must have stuck out like sore thumbs.

That's a funny story! It reminded me of visiting my sisterinlaw in Michigan one summer. I dipped my toe in the water and said no way. She grew up there and was in the water all the time while we were there.
When it gets below 70, us South Floridians are putting our long pants and sweatshirts on. Our bodies spend years adapting/adjusting and focusing on finding ways to keep us cool, since its hot the majority of the year. When it gets cool they don't adjust as well since most of the internal adjustments are to deal with hot weather. The same applies to when its 90 degrees in Maine. You would think it's brutally hot and it would seem pretty normal to us. You're internal mechanisms are more focused on making you feel warm in cooler weather. Believe it or not, there is some scientific research regarding this subject!! LOL
