Walk in Peace / I'm Charley's Mom.
Now, this a fun Forum. Where else you you have access to your friends and the plants you love all in one area?
We want to grow our plants and learn new ideas on how to successfully grow them and do it without harming our little living green pals.
One of the first thing we learn is to never use City water on CPs, they are very sensitive to the chemicals in the water, the chlorine and floride
will Burn them up and they Die. The best water is Rain water or Distilled water.
DO NOT Fertize them, just as with the water they will Die, they will catch their own food without our fingers poking and probbing them, they will grow and then they will bloom for you, making seeds and dropping them at the right time.
Give them some peat and a nice little bog garden and they will grow and flourish for you. But you all know there is more to it than this and that is what this site is about; To help each other the best ways we can.
Thank any and all who enter and enjoy making our little Plants happy and Healthy.

No not yet . We are suppose to get anywhere from 3 to 5 inches tonight and tomorrow. We have been lucky as far as snow goes. Not really much here. Just so darn cold though.

Hey Charleen, do you think spring water would hurt the cp's?

No, dear. As long as there are NO Chemicals in the
water that will burn ; like chlorine and floride; it will be great.
I have a dug well, I use it all the time. Rainwater is great. We are getting a rain, you can use rain water, or heck you can melt snow, if "push comes to shove", sure would take a lot of snow.

Hi all just lurking around...Lol, Jar you are toooo funny!!!
I too, would rather spend my money on plants, than food... When I go to walmart I always go to the plant section first.. I can decide when I leave there how tight I need to be with the grocery budget that week...We have to have a little pleasure in life tho..It would be no fun to go buy all those groceries if I couldnt come home with a lil treat for me...I only have one cp right now(thank you Charleen) I hope it survives...Im excited to see how it grows when the weather gets warmer...Trish
