Well, we are about to do another charity quilt, and this time we will do all heart blocks! it can be a piece of pretty heart print fabric, it can be a pieced block or an appliqued block!

The blocks will be 12 & 1/2 inch when finished. Blocks will be due by the end of August.

Send all finished blocks to me when your done.

I think a multiple of colors will be nice, so any color for the backing will work too? Red, pinks, blues, purple, greens... Nice summer colors!
We will do a quilt as you go block, so everyone will make a block, and sandwich it with batting and your choice of colors for a backing. Pretty spring colors!
I know some don't know how to layer them, so maybe they can mail their pieces to me when your done with your block.
Also, if you don't have the warm and natural batting, I have plenty, so I can mail it to you.

As you can see, there are lots of pretty heart quilts out there, and all kinds of patterns. Just do a Google search for one.

Lord Jesus, He's all I need.
Darn, you locked on me a minute too early!!
Well, my pieced heart is ready to go!
Do you need it sandwiched, and quilted, leaving batting and backing longer than block?
Thinking it will be easy with the QAYG method, if that someone volunteering don't have access to a long arm.

I'm in the process of doing the first of 2 quilts, and then complete some extras to go with the quilts.

Thanks Kathy.
Jaye, you have one already made?
Jaye, I agree, the quilt as you go is pretty easy to do!
If everyone else agree's, that is what we will do. I know some don't know how to layer them, so maybe they can mail their pieces to who ever puts it together? Also, if you don't have the warm and natural batting, I have plenty, so I can mail it to you, or to whoever puts the quilt together.

I'm good with whatever is decided.

It looks like I will be needing to get some warm and natural batting, if that is what we will be using, I'm sure I'll need some. I think Hancock-online has some?

Will we also be using our own backing? That would be pretty too.

I'm going to start mine when we have a volunteer to put the quilt together. Just want to make sure someone can do it. I'm working on one now and have orders for 3 more so I'm booked!
