Okay how do I get my database to show a link on the side bar of the home page like it does with the Iris Cubit for example? I have a database I am working on - but I cannot get it to show unless I go to the control panel and go in through the tools...

Any one can you help me figure this one out?

Mitch, I checked your home page to see if you had cubits and I see you have two. If you put the links to your cubits in your signature line you will get people to notice you more. Smiling

I am working on getting them set up first.. - facebook pages, database, etc... one of those things - soon they will be there!

I'm having the same problem... and I've already tried "refresh"

I'm setting up a database to use for an upcoming seed swap. Right now it has one entry (for me). I can access it via the control panel but don't see a link to the right of my main cubit page.

Dave & Trish, I have added you to the "InvitedMembers" group for my cubit, so you should be able to access it and find the database...?
(whoops, forgot the link: http://cubits.org/crittercorner/ )

Thanks!

The database link won't show up at all if it is limited to a certain group.

Since your cubit itself is locked down to only invited members, you should open the DB entirely. This way it's still only viewable by those who can see the cubit itself, but the link will then show up.

Alternatively, just edit your right-side infobox to make a link manually. That would work out just fine.

OK, thanks! Access to my cubit will certainly expand as I start to do more with it, but the "lockdown mode" works for me at present. :-)
