LOL! Our laundry room is just 5' x 8' and I'm willing to bet we've more laundry! Still at least we have one  Man! Japanese houses are soooo small! Still less housework I suppose. Nice to see your room all cleared of off-cuts, I never ceases to amaze me just how much is produced even from a small job, let alone one on the scale of yours, boggles the mind!  Yesterday I had to remove my side gate and trellis to facilitate parking of a second car at the side of the house as DW has a drivers licence now and of course want's her own car! Compact living here.  Under Japanese law you can't own a car without a parking space off road. Then the roads are so narrow! Keep up the good work Cheryl for this is something very special we all wanna see, even come and see! God I wish I lived in Texas!  Jon. |

| Oh Cheyl, I see that now...still like the milk paint leaning anyway. I don't much like painted wood at all but that works for me in some applications. I have to do it on the stair risers (one of these days) because they were carpet over oak but even with good sanding equipment, there is some unrecognizable 'white stuff' that I cannot get off the risers. Repairs, hummm...yes, tomorrow perhaps (the furnace is scheduled for Friday ...the others I will do as I am so inspired), I have brought much up from the basement for cleaning and disposal, that's the icky part but has to get priority or mildew and unidentifiable critter may ensue. | HA! Cheryl! When I bought the house and was still fishing and buying meat in bulk, I got a great big freezer for free. The guys that moved it down there said, "it's down there now but it's never coming up". It's totally inefficient and I haven't used it for years or will I ever...but they were right! | as non working freezers are not easy to get rid of I have one that is a pantry ... | friday we went and got paint & bolts for the iron that holds up/or together the beams . Yesterday JC went & picked up the iron for the beams WOW it must be a GUY THING !!!
