well I picked up 5 more cabinets . 4 are stained dark but all are oak so now trying to make up my mind to either strip and stain to match or paint & do the destressed look or just leave them dark as an accent they will all be set together  We now also have a cabinet for the shop potty & the quilt stuido potty also. Kitchen & master bath are still waiting. The cabinets in the Kitchen will be 2 different finishes. Monday we took the trailer to the cedar mill for the cedar ceiling boards to be stacked on as they cut it .Then it goes to the miller that will plane it & shiplap the boards. | Cheryl, I'm trying to summon up some enthusiasm to make a start but so far I'm unable to do so, perhaps as the weather cools some. Our soil is irradiated and there is still fallout from the Fukushima plant not to mention frequent aftershocks. I hope to be able to get back to work soon but this has turned out to be far more difficult than I anticipated at the beginning. For now I'm working to do the best I can to protect my kids, nothing else seems important to me right now. Having said that I am slowly coming to terms but know recovery will take time. Jon |

If push came to shove I'd go riding! Man I'd love to try that!....I once rode an Elephant in India, a bit like driving a big foot truck  Oh! and a camel in Tunisia, man it stank! Seem to remember donkey rides on the beach as a kid too. Naw, get on with the cabinets! we wanna see the photos. |
