We have a young Great Pyrenees who is having her first litter tonight. We thought we penned her up in time for this not to happen but OH WELL.
She had her first around 11:45 PM and her second at 12:15. We were contacted by Trish and Dave about a puppy but we did not have any and did not think we were going to have any for a while. A friend in south Texas ( Nadine ) found us a female and then brought it up for us and brought a female for Trish and Dave. Trish says if we can find another, they still want a male. So. I am posting here because so many people want to see Trish and Dave's next puppy and I can not post pictures on Trish's blog. Thanks.
Oh, they are white with black heads and black tails ! What neat coloring!
Thanks for letting us in on this momentous occasion. Do you know about the father?
The badger markings usually fade in time but some do still show faintly. #4 is here, but I am waiting a decent interval to check if it's boy or girl ;~)
And here is the last, Sir Lancelot, the White Knight. He is the only one not badger marked. He came about 4:45 and then I went to bed, got almost an hour of sleep.

Well I did sort of name the White Knight after you. Thanks for being a good sport about this. We have been promising a photo record of the event and then found out we could not post pictures on Trish's blog. It was a fun night but I am off to work. I just know when that Texas sun hits me I will melt like butter. 1 hour of sleep will catch up with me. Thanks
