Collect your supplies:
Soft bristle brush
Sponge
Bucket
Oxygen or chlorine bleach (optional)
Household cleaner
Water or rainwater
Cloth
Gloves (optional)
Brush or rinse off any loose dust, debris and other dirt found on the furniture.
Add one part of household cleaner to a bucket of water or add one cup of bleach into a bucket of water. Be sure to wear gloves. Start to scrub the furniture. If the furniture is heavily stained, let it sit for a couple of minutes and come back later and start scrubbing again; you should see that the stains will go away more easily after a short wait.
Rinse carefully with lots of water.
Dry with a cloth and let the chair dry further in the sun. If the furniture is white, then this process will help to whiten the furniture some more.
If wished, you can wax the furniture after cleaning using automotive paste wax. This will help water to bead and come off with ease.
