A few years ago, while trying to figure out how to get my son potty trained, I found the best method was to encourage him to water the flowers. He had a favorite spot to personally water, with two unanticipated benefits. Not quite toilet trained, but it worked.

My hat is off to you, Lance! I had thought about writing something to this effect myself but didn't find the courage to do so. When you live out where there is no one else around you can make use of everything! I have had terrible trouble in the past with rabbits and groundhogs eating more of my green beans than I do. This year I sprinkled the soiled shavings from the dog kennel around the far outside perimeter of my raised bed veggie garden. This year we have plenty of beans and I see the critters eating grass and such just like they should!

I am glad you enjoyed it, and have decided to check out what is around, including my own section. With a slight touch of humor, there are many interesting topics I may write about, as time allows. And should you desire to write about something garden related, just let me know, and I can post it here. I can even hide the author, if you are a bit embarrassed.

Hmm, interesting. I didn't know that we could hide authors. That's a new one on me! I do not have enough time to write much right now, tis the season and there's much gardening to be done. I'm compiling material so that I can write over the winter months though. I'll need something more to do then.
This cubit is so we can share gardening tips, tricks, ideas, and methods, and talk about what works and does not work. Of course, what works for one person may not work for another, so let’s share why methods may or may not work, as well.
