| Santa Cruz Island is much bigger than Anacapa and is habitable. Chumash Indians used to live here and later, ranchers lived here. The day we went out, the ocean was very rough. I almost got seasick even though I had taken Dramamine. I think they would have not gone out if they had known how rough it was going to be, but the weather forecast was for the wind to die down. The boat was to stop at two places and all of us where wanted to go to Scorpion Anchorage, but it was too rough to stop there, so we all had to go to Prisoners Harbor.

| This is where the boat docks. The land here looks a lot like the mainland but there are some species of plants here that are not found on the mainland.
