I detest Donald Trump, but I must admit, I get hooked on his idiotic show almost every year. Last year, it was hysterical if only because of Gary Busey, who actually flashed the camera during one episode. (He was wearing a robe, just not any tidy whites underneath!) As usual, I don't have any idea who some of these "celebrities" are, but I do recognize some. http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1676719/celebrity-apprentic... Any other CA junkies out there?

Wow, this is an amazing lineup. There are only three I've never heard of. Usually close to half are enigmas to me.
Gary Busey was simultaneously infuriating and amusing -- to the viewers and to the other contestants. Do you think he's really that far off the wall, Alma, or was he putting us on?

Honestly, I think what we saw was authentic Busey. This issue came up on the show and was discussed briefly. This is from wikipedia:
"Motorcycle accident and brain damage
On December 4, 1988, Busey was severely injured in a motorcycle accident in which he was not wearing a helmet. His skull was fractured, and doctors feared he suffered permanent brain damage.[16]
At the recommendation of Dr. Drew Pinsky, Busey was seen by psychiatrist Dr. Charles Sophy. Sophy suspected that Busey's brain injury has had a greater effect on him than realized. He described it as essentially weakening his mental "filters" and causing him to speak and act impulsively. Sophy recommended Busey take a medication called Depakote (valproic acid), to which Busey agreed.[17]"

The first episode of Celebrity Apprentice was delayed, so the season starts tonight at 9:00 on NBC. There are some truly funny people in this group, so I have high hopes for the season. I hope the funny ones don't get voted off right away.

I only watched half, but *sandwiches*?? I caught one woman's comment about how "we all have great hair" and I thought, whoa, you need glasses - or a new hairdresser. And Victoria Gotti? Does she really think *we* think that mess is her hair?

Is anyone keeping up? I've missed most of the last two (I think) episodes, but it seems the contestants/project leaders are committing celebrity suicide in order to get off the show! I can't wait for Trump to fire Lisa. What a puffed up egomaniac!

I'm pretty sure Lisa's going to be this year's winner. She is a puffed-up egomaniac, but why would that bother Donald Trump? She does so much on each project that no project manager would dare to bring her back into the boardroom. She's the loudest and can out-argue anyone else.
I was happy for Lou this week. He'd been portrayed as someone who was obsessed with his "Hulk" image and did nothing while protesting that he always gives 110%, but it might have been one of those bad edits. He really stepped up this week and delivered a good video, without insisting on wearing his Hulk costume.
I had expected Penn to win this season, but I think some of the other men are determined to make him the fall guy soon.

What's with Aubrey - Audrey? - the redhead. Who is she anyway? I thought it was a classless play she made, flirting with Trump's son Eric, saying she'd love to be in the "Trump family".

Everything she does is classless. I think she sang with a rock band on another reality TV show. I had never seen her before (and I don't ever want to see her again). She was feuding with Debby Gibson for the first couple of episodes, but now the two of them have formed a strong alliance against Dayana. In general, Lisa, Aubrey, and Debby want all of the other women to be gone, at which point Lisa and Aubrey will get rid of Debby, I'm sure.
Truer words were never written, zuzu. May I join in?
I never watched this show before, but have seen the last half hour for about a month now. Finally, 2 weeks ago I told DH "I want to watch this". So here we are on a Sunday night watching a reality show for 2 hours, but I love it!
Personally, I think Clay is going to walk away with the whole shebang. Lisa needs to go, she is an egomaniac who thinks she carries the whole team. Not a very good team player, in my book.
I am not a fan of Aubrey (where did she come from???) but I think it will come down to her & Clay. She's actually very talented, and a self starter, knows when to keep her mouth shut, when to open it... but I think she has too much ego to go all the way.
I hope Clay walks away with the whole shebang, but I'm wondering how much Donald Trump wants a legitimate excuse to stay in contact with Dayana for the next year. He might choose her.
Lisa is awful! She natters on and on about being the only person to come up with the ideas, but her team keeps losing, so how good are those ideas?
