The new season of The Voice starts tomorrow night (February 29, 2016) with a 2-hour show at 8:00. The show will be running on Mondays and Tuesdays this season. In other news, American Idol will lose its Wednesday show as of this week and will be on only once a week for 2 hours every Thursday.

Yay, Gwen's gone and Christina's back! No more of Gwen's stupid makeovers that rob the contestants of their uniqueness.

Thanks for the heads up!!! I'm going to set it up to record and then if I watch it when it is on, I can just delete it. Don't want to miss any. So glad to hear Christina is coming back. I still wish Chikara would though.

I'm enjoying it so far. The judges are getting a bit overboard at times but the talent is real.... Thumbs up

I'm enjoying it too. Do you think "Curly Sue" is a winner from her first audition the way Jordan Smith and Sawyer Fredericks were? I find myself comparing all later auditions to hers and thinking no one measures up to her.

She is wonderful but I'm not picking until I see them all. Jordan still holds my heart..... Hilarious!

I'm so glad they're promoting his new album. They usually say very little to help their winners, but last week they devoted several segments to him.

I still find Jordan's voice to be so great. He can belt one out with the best of them but I love his quiet ballads and songs of inspiration.

Here's some rotten news about The Voice: Christina and Pharrell will take next season off and will be replaced by Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus.

I'm going to have so much free time this summer now that they've changed So You Think You Can Dance to a kiddy show and made Miley Cyrus a coach on The Voice. She's utterly despicable and I have no interest in seeing her every week.

OMG That sure spoils things for me too. I cannot stand Cyrus but I do like Alicia Keyes. Thank heaven for the mute button!!!!

What bothers me a lot is that the show's producers obviously chose to do this in the hope of attracting Miley Cyrus' fans, but her fans are likely to vote only for contestants who are "cute." Would Jordan have had any chance of winning last season if the voters had been fans of Miley Cyrus?

I would like to think so but I'm afraid he would not have won if that were the case. I hate to think the Voice would just become another Idol...... Sad

Okay...there's a good reason for me to now not be sorry about missing Voice.....I WILL NOT watch anything to do with Miley Cyrus......I noticed just now the pic of Cyrus and Alicia together and Alicia sure does not look happy.....only person that I can't stand more than Lopez.....

I did take a moment to e-mail The Voice and tell them that I won't watch anything with Miley Cyrus on it......

Wow! That's proactive. Maybe I'll do that too, and maybe I'll send one to So You Think You Can Dance to protest their continuing efforts to ruin that show.

Well, it's unusual for me to do that, but I feel REALLY, REALLY strongly about it...LOL....how can they not see that they're taking a winning program and trashing it? It seems they're hearing the same thing from many others regarding Miley. I hope it has some effect......

Now that the judges are done with their choices, it will be fun to watch who America chooses.... A lot of great talent this year.

Either I was wrong before or I'm wrong now, but I have to admit that Miley Cyrus was okay as a mentor. She has a good voice and gave the contestants good advice. Maybe she'll be a good coach after all.

I think Miley did a decent job as a mentor. As much as I don't like her, I think I'd rather see her than Gwen back.

I'm with you on that. Gwen's much more irritating.

I was impressed with how Miley acted on Idol too. Not with her big heart pillow but she did really give good constructive advice. Maybe I won't mind her after all. I really don't care for Gwen either. The sound of her voice irritates me...
Looking forward to the live shows.
