Callisia fragrans is a wonderful hanging basket plant, or can be grown as a groundcover in warmer climates, but is considered by some to be a noxious weed and invasive in some areas. I grow mine as a hanging plant in my screened pool area. It gets full sun filtered by the screen for most of the day. It seems happy growing in either full sun or partial shade locations. My plant blooms sometimes two and three times a year, spring, summer and fall. The blooms are very fragrant.
