|You all see the websites advertising their wares in the Google ads permeating the Internet. There are two places I know of, off the top of my head, that allow you to create an online store and market it as your own. Both of these places let you upload your artwork or sayings and have them printed on different items. These items range from t-shirts and hats to shoes and coffee mugs. Most of you are familiar with Zazzle because that is where you can buy a Dave's Garden t-shirt. So I will start with Zazzle. I have also put up a store front there. What I like about the company is the ability to start up a store front and create products to sell without spending any money.
http://www.zazzle.com There is a base price for the item and then you determine what you want to make off each item in your market place. So far, I have only sold one item and made $2.40. I was paid through paypal. It took 10 minutes to scan the image into the computer, upload it, and position it on a sweatshirt. The image was one my mother had done before she passed away. Although it made me only a smidgen of cash, there was nothing invested in the process but my time. I was paid $2.40 for 10 minutes worth of work.
http://www.cafepress.com is the same type of company. Many of the same products exist on both websites but there are some differences also. So just browse around and see what you can find to play with and design a store.
The way to make money with both of these endeavors is to market your storefront to everyone you can possible make listen. Print out a flyer, if you can, and post them around town to let people know what you are offering. Read up on internet marketing and create a name for yourself and sell, sell, sell!!!
Need more selections? Here you go.
Before you go to any of these sites, read this article on how to sell t-shirts online. There are some great tips.
