Wow, Catherine I am sorry to say I didn't even know this thread was here. It is beautiful and will sure come in handy next time I am shopping for Primula. Thank you so much for all the information and wonderful photos.
I am afraid I did not come here for a long time Lynn. Glad that you appreciate. This year was not a good one for this genus but some are still blooming, or reblooming. Some pics of the day for the primroses lovers.

We are in a drought period, everything is burning up and water is to expensive to water all of the yard. We've been in the 90's with 7% humidity for almost 2 months now.
As of today we are in the 70's with some first half of the day cloud cover, no rain but you can feel moisture in the are. Ahhhhh, it it wonderful. I have been working in the yard since early this morning. What a glorious time I've had today.
Was exactlly the same here Lynn and do not be sorry for the water restrictions as watering COULD NOT HELP and everything was burning from sun. Glad to know you have been able to work today in the garden.

Well Lynn we were lucky we did get some small amount of rain and with everything else we did work, just did the overseas paperwork and sorting.
This weekend I will post pictures of my plants and seeds that I got from friend, as beginning to think the primrose just hate me, followed all instructions to the tea. Hope they are just going dormant.
Hi Dee. We didn't get any rain here in Dallas, that would have been lovely to say the least. : )
My primroses are all dormant right now. Sometimes they will come back in the fall before going to sleep for the winter.
