The annual HIPS sale insructions are listed at historiciris.org; just scroll down a bit on main page and click link. By July 13 the irises will be listed with links for pictures. On July 20 members can purchase them, and on July 23 non-members can do that. [But for $10 get an e-membership via the website and get that 3 day "bonus" toward them.] So far there are around 450 varieties to be offered, not all historic ones. Price will be $6.50 each, minimum of 4, shipping to US and Canada included.

If you have extras you have not traded off, the instructions explain how to donate some.

They are now up to 600 varieties and asked that no more be donated. After last year's poor iris growth this year seems great.

Site is up and running. Lots of moderns as well as historic irises. Most have picture and link to the HIPS gallery or AIS wiki for more detailed description. Shipping is to both Canada and US, but could ask about phyto certificate cost to other countries.

Today Monday is the last day to order specific varieties.
"On Tuesday, we’re starting our Basement Blowout Sale, where you can order grab bags of mixed irises, either in Singles sets (one rhizome of many cultivars) or Clumps sets (several rhizomes of fewer cultivars, for planting in clumps). They’ll be available in set of 25 for $40, 50 for $75, and 100 for $150, shipping included. Great for landscaping! If you want mostly Tall Beardeds or Medians, let us know and we’ll honor that as much as we can; otherwise they’ll be mixed."

An "extension" to the HIPS sale, of sorts anyway, is the sale by Pickle Barrel Iris. See: http://www.grandmaraismichigan.com/irises/
Lots of historics, some moderns.

I looked at the plant list but most of what I would want, I already have. Great because we still have irises to plant.
