Robin, I had thought about selling it on ebay or online somewhere, but there were a few problems. My stempmom is very petite and I believe she made many of the necklaces using her own neck for measurement. My concern is the fitting of the necklace. I asked her to add some length to it but she said that she would do it when someone buys it. I just didn't like doing business that way. Plus, she doesn't live close by so it' a bit of a hassle to drive to her house just to adjust a necklace at a time.

those are pretty. I like to take orders and make each piece to what the customer wants. You are right, folks don't always like snug necklaces and Stepmom's neck is smaller than other folks. Welcome to the new forum.
That would be ideal, to make jewelries custom to the customer. Unfortunately, I don't know how to make them and my stepmom is lacking in the technology department.

As My beloved Bumble just said...those would be sold as custom necklaces..those are always worth more money!! The going back and forth could be easily solved with a phone call to you MIL you give the dimensions or even the computer you watch the incoming orders and get the specifications, when she completes she sends you a pictures email or upload or cell phone you are still dealing with the customer. You can print the shipping labels on line. and have the boxes delivered to her home. all she will have to do it fill and attach a label . You dont specify arrival time you tell the customer when it leaves that it is on the way.

She doesnt really have to explain it to her Mom !! That is the glory of it!! I think or it sounds to me like Mom isnt really the business or sales typoe that is part of Lillies problem. So this way all she has to do its teach her to print from the post office label and fill the box. Lillie does the rest and Mom hardly cares how she does it as long as she is busy making her art work and making enough money to do it
She has to take the picture of the custom jewelries and send it to me from the cell phone and that might be a problem. But I will talk to her and see.
Now, lets talk a little bit about the site. Should I post current jewelries of what she has made and how would someone order, by just emailing or cmailing me? Also, pricing. I think her price is pretty high.

You need a cubit or a thread under someones cubit. First!! For Jewelry!! And decorate it nice get a picture of her jewelry and use it in your wallpaper. Do a question and answers thing. You can put pricing on request cmail me or email me or gmail me you get the jest...if her prices are high it obviously wont sell but!!!!!! One never knows these things...one mans wonder is another mans salt. Ok so prices are just that nothing but prices. She will sell it or she will get tired of holding on to it and lower the prices... really that is a non problem, honest.
