Hello!

I was invited to this site by my mom who was an active member of Dave's Garden. I have a very small business making jewelry but I also love to dab in just about all forms of creative expression. The best part about jewelry for me is that I never get bored with it. There is always a new avenue to try or a different style to incorperate. I have a general picture here from when I did a fair last summer. I will post more soon.

Thanks for putting up this forum. I am really excited to be here!

This is a necklace I made with an amythyst disk. It sold quickly so I was happy I got a picture of it before hand.

This is a spiral necklace that I made. I have used this pattern with several variations and I really love how they turn out. It can be time consuming and teadious but I love it (I think you have to be a little insane to do some of this stuff. Rolling on the floor laughing )

This is one I named "Mauve Lady". It was also sold very quickly. I used a button as the centerpiece and I love how it turned out.

This one started as a fairly simple flat peyote stitch bracelet but then I adorned it with beautiful amber tones glass flowers. I could only find the close-up picture, but it gives you a more detailed view.

I love the beaded spiral necklace and also the peyote stitch bracelet, I agree, you must be a little insane to enjoy using those small beads with needle and thread.
Could you tell me on the spiral necklace what size beads you used. It looks as if they might be different sizes ?? I have only done spiral with the same size beads.

thanks,
I have not done any beading in awhile..been concentrating on quilts.
going to dig some little projects out to take to work, so I have something to do at lunch hour...
used to sit on my truck tailgate and stitch on a quilt, but now that I am working later shift it is too dark out for that. so I figure I can stay inside and bead I tip my hat to you.

Hi All,
I'm Heather's mom. She's certainly got talent!. She got it from her dad's side, the only thing I can do is grow plants. Smiling

Heather, I think this might be the first time I've seen some of these. Just breath takenly beautiful work.

Thunder, Your work is very very nice. That spiral looks like it may have taken some time.

I'm so in awe of the talent I see here and wish I could create things like that.
