Let's celebrate whatever makes you happy, goals you've reached, accomplishments, love, pets, a new job, a project, something new that you've learned, or anything else that makes you say hooray! Here's one of the things that makes me happy... one of my puppies!

Brenda, seriously now... who could not be happy with a little smooch-face like that! Adorable pup; what's his/her name?

That is one of the puppies from a previous litter that we sold, so I'm not sure of her name. They are all so dang cute though!

Today, trees leafing out and clematis showing buds are making me happy! Seems like spring has finally arrived in SW Colorado!

It's been so nice here, but summer's definitely a few days away with triple digit temps. Not looking forward to that. Today, I'm going up to Munds Park for a few days and it will be cold at night. I will enjoy being in 'the woods' no matter what.

Nice Alma, you'll enjoy that! Glad you're having some fun! It does sound like you have had a really nice spring (based on DG comments). Lucky you!

I'm grateful to have visited a couple of old old friends in Northern California recently. I've been friends with these two gals more than 30 years. Friends are the BEST!

Friends ARE the best, Susie! How was your trip? I saw your pics on DG, so beautiful. I hope you found some of whatever your spirit needed there and that it came home with you. Hugs from me!

Thanks, Brenda!
Indeed, my spirit was searching, needing the Bay Area. Needing my friends. I was stunned at what I found... in the "life transitions" sense. Our lives never turn out as we thought they would. And, the really fun part is, it's not over yet!

It's quite amazing sometimes to take a moment (or a few) to consider what life gives to us... I'm so glad your friends and your hometown 'filled you up'. Looking forward to your next adventure!

I'm celebrating that cubits is back up. I hope it stays up; it's completely different from DG, despite all of IB's claims.

So.... Now that's it's up and we're all here - we are all here, aren't we? - let's talk! Vickie, how are you? Do you have a little something to celebrate?

Anyone doing something special this weekend?

Hi Alma, you are awesome! I knew as soon as I saw a new posting in 'Let's Celebrate' that it would be you! I too am celebrating that cubits is back up! Tony and I are in beautiful Cotopaxi, CO... in our motor home with all the dogs, surrounded by beautiful mountains on a gorgeous sunny day. What's not to celebrate? Here is a picture of the view here...

And here is a pic of one of the many happy little hummingbirds visiting our portable feeder which is attached to the window of the motorhome!

Brenda, where is Cotopaxi? It's beautiful! There's still snow on San Francisco Peaks up at Flag. I loved going up there last week but the wind was fierce. I had an allergic reaction to the dust, but I had a terrific visit with a wonderful friend I hadn't seen in several years. It was just too short.

The MOTH is sitting with me and just ventured that we could - "if not for all the animals" - take off in the trailer that we have (and have never used) for an extended trip. My response: Well, park someone here to care for them and let's go! Really, the pets aren't the reason we haven't gone anywhere; we've - either he or I or both of us - have been in school for the last two plus years. But one of these days.... Thumbs up

Oh, this sounds awful, but about all we're celebrating here is feeling better than yesterday. I got sick (again!) from the Flag trip and after I got home, so did Lorne. We have got to get out of this polluted city to some cleaner air. If he gets word that he's been accepted into the Nursing program at Yavapai, we'll have something for sure to celebrate about! Cross your fingers for him.

Crossing fingers, toes, and eyes! You should find a way to get out in your trailer, if only for a weekend. There is something totally revitalizing about getting out in a part of nature that you don't experience everyday. I hope you're feeling better! Hugs from me...

And I meant to post a picture. How is this - I see this when I walk out of my front door, my Royal Poinciana blooming its head off....
That tree says 'CELEBRATE!' to me..
