It's been a while since anyone bragged. What gives here? Surely someone else has a kid or a dog to go on about. Oh, wait... I do!

I have taken in and adopted several dogs, but this is the first that adopted us. Long story short: My GD started off to work and had just turned the corner about a block away when she saw a dog in the street. (Residential street, thank goodness.) The dog ran straight for her car so she slowed to a crawl. When she couldn't see the dog, she thought it had run under her car so she got out and bent down to see. No dog. When she got back in the car, there was the dog sitting in the seat! And she refused to get out! GD frantically called home for help. The MOTH took a collar and leash and brought the dog home.

We advertised 'lost dog' online and put fliers up all over the neighborhood. Walked the dog all around, thinking she'd go for home. Nothing. No calls, no dog heading for home. No collar, no tags, no chip. It's as if she dropped from the sky.

We finally gave up and named her. This is Peaches. Thumb of 2010-08-11/tomatofreak/45b27b

And here she is with the equally adorable GGS. They have a mutual admiration society. Littermates, my DD calls them. Hilarious!

Alma, Peaches is so sweet! And what a smart dog, choosing you and your family! Awesome, I tell ya!

Lee Anne, those doggies are beautiful as well! That first pic is so 'etheral' almost... it's a really nice shot. Did you take it?

Lovin all the fur babies (and the GGS too!).

I have this theory that chocolate slows down the aging process.... It may not be true, but do I dare take the chance?

Max is a cutie!!

Yup, I took the picture above. My camera lives beside the computer so it's always beside me when opportunity arises. I look to my left into the kitchen and there they were...just had to point and zoom :))

Max is looking good, Marie. If I didn't know his story, I'd think he never had a problem. I'm in Cottonwood at the trailer right now and there's a couple with two little Poms they walk each day. So cute. Always makes me want one....
