I see several over the summer , they never seem to get very large. I think the largest one I have ever seen is about as big around as a pencil and a bit longer.

No picture but I found my first toad of the season. It was a little one about the size of a quarter and very dark, almost black.

This year all the toads I have seen have been small/medium in size.
Normally there are two large fat toads near the front porch , I have not seen either this year.

Life in the Garden

A place to see the ever changing life in the gardens I tend. My garden can be a wild and weedy place. There is always something going on. Just take a look around.
