The founding of Creation Observations was inspired by the passion to conserve native wildlife. Where the harmony of plant purpose and the living creatures that depend on them, were created to perform most of the work for the gardener. In keeping to native plantings, and installing many larval host plants for caterpillars of the butterflies within range, is a guaranteed recipe for success! When taking this specific focus, all life in the garden thrives, from the smallest of garden insects to the larger wildlife including butterflies, hummingbirds, warblers, and larger wild birds.

Our vision is to build or assist specific local garden projects which will provide education to the community with regard to conservation. Furthermore to encourage more schools like WRES in building their own gardens where school children can learn and explore the joy of planting and observing nature first hand.

With over 10 years of deep study in entomology and gardening, my work has spilled over into speaking engagements to every type of venue inspiring young and old with some simple facts about the earth we live on. The focus is as much on plants as the creatures we observe around them, and in so doing I often hear the sound............."Aha!" & "Wow!"

In the course of this work we provide excellent opportunities to fulfill community service hours for NJHS and Teen Court. Just call me at the number below, or drop me an email at [email protected] to see if we have need of volunteers.

Creation Observations is a non-profit company, however not technically set up as one. We pay taxes like everyone else except when buying on behalf of a school or church, etc. We use our own money to run everything here, and any donations for specific projects, are usually matched or exceeded by Mr. Magnes and myself. Absolutely all funds received for each endeavor are used with frugality and only for the projects specified.

Sincerely,
Deb Magnes

Taynors,
When I see those I use the pinch and squish method... If kept on watch this way, they will not take over. Just don't squish the smooth skinned cats. Also Monarchs and Queens have faint stripes and antennae visible in the early instars. I usually take them into a cage with very fine mesh at this stage when I find them, replenishing fresh milkweed and cleaning out frass every day or so after they reach 1".

Check these quick and easy cat cages>
