This thread is for anything we'd like to share for or about our friend, who shared so much with us.

I like to think that people will continue to get to know her over the years, from the posts she made here and from the memories she shared in this wonderful trio of stories on the All Across Kentucky cubit: the Prom Dress story here, and two more here,

Sally, thank you for your friendship, for the insights and humor and wisdom you've shared with us! Thank you for trusting us with the "downs" as well as the "ups" of your life, and of your fight with cancer.

I won't say goodbye, because this won't be goodbye, it will be "see you later!" Knowing you, I have to believe in Heaven, because a spirit like yours can't possibly just stop.

Been there, Done that!
For the rest of my life I will think of our dear Sally whenever I dance in the rain. Thank you Sally for being part of our family.

The loss of Sally left a hole in my heart. From April till the end she was up all hours of the night. Sometimes I was up at all hours too and quite often I'd get a little message from her: "If you're up this late, you'd better be writing!"

And I usually was.

I live a couple hundred miles west of her and one day when the weather group that she worked with was bringing her lunch, she called and said, "Don't send me any bad weather surprises today because the weather group will be at my house and we sure won't be monitoring the weather."

She made me laugh, she made me cry; my memories of her are treasures.
