By mistake I made two threads. The only ones on the threads were woofie, and me, and I just deleated our thread, to lesson confusion, for all, but me, and we will report every ons progress.
I had told woffie about getting my garden tools out of the weather, and how to treat the wooden handles, for long lasting durability. I have a "d" handled 5 prong pitch, that is as durable as anything new, and I used it with my 4H club calf, back in 1950, and '51, and we were taught how to treat our handles, for preservation, and it must work.
The remity is: 1/3 boild lindseed oil, 1/3 terpentine, and 1/3 parifin, or bees wax.
Take something like a empty soup can, heat the lindseed oil, and terpentine, so the wax will melt, making the 1/3 parifin melt into the can, and let cool. Recomended to sand the handles of the tools first, especially if they had paint on them, and rub in the preserver.
I didn't mean to make this a helowiese situation, because we are on the road to concouring clutter, but open to good advice. It makes me strive to gain control of this beast, and get on the road to being able to take a picture, and not worry whats in the back ground.Anyone know what I'm talking about?? Huh??
For instance, I am going to show you a picture of a new garden window we had installed, along with other windows, to improve the looks of the house, but also save energy. Cinda, I am always working, and I have quite a job ahead of me.Lets keep those "baby steps" comming, because I doubt that anyone created this beast all at once.I will have a picture of a before, and after soon. You can see from my pic, that its hard to take a pic, without having a cluttered back ground. Mike
I made one baby step yesterday. Got the two huge boxes of laundry soap that been in the back seat of the car for the past 6 months out and a bag of clothes a friend gave me into the house to wash and hang, so i can wear them.
The boxes of laundry soap been in the car so long, that when I opened one up they a giant block and having to break it up.
First two items out of the back seat. Now for the hundred other ones. LOL
Ya know Mike, never thought about that and I carrying around about 8 bags of leafmulch in there that been there before Christmas too. Definately need to save on gas. Thanks!

You can drop the leaf mulch off here I can always use some. And if you want I can find something for you to take home to fill the empty space... How about cats...are they considered clutter.
I wish I could drop off the leaf mulch to you. I have way to many leaves here.
I just came to the realization that getting rid of our clutter is good, but I do find myself watching to see what folks are getting rid of and wishing I could collect it. LOL

No real progress today but I am finishing up my winter sowing and when done there will be a whole lot less mess in the Garage ( about 40+ milk jugs)

Oh Cinda, I doing the same thing.I just got introduced to WS, and I am so excited,I am really seeing the light at the end of the tunel, where my "Cluttered mind" is cocerned. I realize that clutter begins in the mind, and gets too "snow balled", so we don't have the ability to sort through the mind to put the body in action.(We become a prisioner), captured by our own mind.We are so confused that we put off even thinking about it, and it over comes us.Then, we start other activities, that ultimently end up in clutter.
Free yourselves folks, before we become a hodgepodge of nothing but junk. Mike

I am still working on the WS. I have given myself a deadline of March 1st then on to outside chores, the snow should be gone by then.
I should have a new clutter conquered by today.
I am a tea drinker, this morning I tried some tea and it was nasty so I tossed the whole box.Now I am on a mission to try the ones that have been sitting around for a long time...about a dozen to go...If I don't like them out they go.

Cinda, I am proud of you.The more I tell myself about being beholding to clutter, the easier I see it, and so far the best way to handle it, is one job at a time.Now I want to concour the (Big) problem, but my baby steps are not that advanced yet, and I finish off a prodject, to day that DW was so surprised about. Thats when you know your making head way.On to another!! Baby stepping. Mike
I have awakened to the realization that I am owned and addicted to my own clutter. I am not at all an expert on much, and certainly not this subject. I feel like if we can just admit that there is a problem..together we can over come.
