Go head and give them to Steph, I don't really like that series. But after you are done with them send them up to Colleen. I think she likes them. I think you both take after me. I buy at least 10 books a month, too. Rolling on the floor laughing

I wouldn't dare walk into a book store of any kind. That is one of my really Bad weaknesses and it is somewhere I don't need to be!!!! I love yard sales and I see and can't resist enough books there to have enough to read for my entire life.

Elena, you have that great used book store in Nashville too--Terrye and Cindy and I went there last year when we went to the Garden Show in March--I don't remember the name, but it was a huge store with all kinds of books, dvd's it was great ! Everything was cheap too !
Ooops, guess I should not be talking about this on the clutter thread--so let me change in mid stream.
I have a cheap mp3 player and download books from the library. I listen to it while I work outside or drive by myself, even when I go to bed at night. It is great when your other half is snoring-LOL--you can concentrate on listening to the book and go back to sleep ! It only takes up a tiny amount of space and when I finish listening to the book I can delete it. Mine is 1GB and it will hold 4 books, 5 if they are shorter.

You have to have a library card to a library that offers audio books, then you just download and transfer to the mp3 and enjoy the book !
I listened to The Last Song that is coming out as a movie, back in the fall, it is a very good book.
There are also all kinds of sites on the internet that you can download books that are public domain--like Little Women and older books.
I have really enjoyed my mp3 player, it has a clip on it and I can listen while I work !
Sure makes dish washing go faster !

I am so priud of the efforts invested in our sanity. I have been getting rid of eye sores in the yard, and DW is going through all magazines, and she has two good size boxes for the recycle. Thats not bad, considering we have brought in two boxes, when "treasure hunting".I am going to get three trees planted today, or burst. Mike

A nice size stack of magazines went in the trash because of being awaken at 4 AM I found time to just sit and sort.
Needed to do something quiet while others slept.

Excelant use of time.My DW does that a lot, and she has (me) take it to recycle, and it is beginning to look "lighter" around here. Thank you for enlightening us on your progress. Mike

Yes, magazines and around here catalogs are major clutter problems. I have found a solution of sorts for the catalog problem. If I see something I want to buy or just something that gives me an idea for something I could make myself, instead of keeping the whole catalog, I tear out just the page I'm interested in and toss the rest. Makes for MUCH smaller stacks! Smiling

Too Cluttered

I have awakened to the realization that I am owned and addicted to my own clutter. I am not at all an expert on much, and certainly not this subject. I feel like if we can just admit that there is a problem..together we can over come. Mike
