Astilbes brighten shady nooks, contrasting beautifully with the larger leaves of hostas.  Plant them in drifts for big impact, or scatter them to enjoy their dancing flowers and fern-like foliage throughout your garden.  Calling these “#1 divisions” would be an understatement.  As she did last year, Sue Taynor of T&T Nurseries is making her largest divisions available for this offer, so Mamajack’s members get great bang for their buck.  *BONUS* Invite a friend to join Mamajack’s.  When the two of you order from her in this sale, Sue will pick out an extra astilbe for each of you.

HOSTAS: Sue’s Special Salewhite hosta bloom against corded blue green leaves

Eight irresistible varieties form this selection of collector’s hostas.  Be greeted in the morning by ‘Blueberry Waffles’, pick up your afternoon spirits with ‘Mango Salsa’, then kick back in the evening with ‘Bailey’s Cream’.  ‘Cup of Grace’ and ‘Woodland Elf’ are sure to delight your garden fairies.   For plants that sound as tough as they are beautiful, you’ve got to love ‘Bullet Proof’, ‘Brutus’, and ‘Thunder Boomer’.  Whether you’re a hosta fanatic or new to growing them, Sue’s treats are hard to beat. *BONUS* Order $45 worth of hostas and get a FREE ‘Empress Wu’ while supplies last.

CLEMATIS for Shade?  You bet!

We’ve all heard that clematis like to have their roots shaded, but most people think the vining part of the Queen of Climbers needs full sun.  Not so!  Most large-flowered clematis develop their best color in partial shade, and some varieties bloom like crazy even in full shade.  Grow them up a fence or trellis, or let them just scramble around in your border.  Some will even thrive in containers.  Every garden has “the perfect spot” for a clematis or two, but we’ll find such special selections that you’ll want them by the dozen.

AGASTACHE hybrids: “Hummingbird Mints” like none you've seen before

No shade in your garden?  We didn’t forget you!  MamaJ found us some stunning new hybrid Agastache, in mouth-watering shades of raspberry, melon, lemon custard, spicy orange, fuchsia and violet-blue.  She got her hands on two really special plants for us:  'Firebird', Richard Dufresne's own creation, and 'Summer Glow', Terra Nova's newest intro.  Unfazed by hot, dry summers, these plants are bred to be extra-long-flowering, too!
