i have several shipments potentially ordered from bill moore. they won't commit to our order until i actually submit the order. so what that means for us is that today these plants are available. but in a week some of these varieties may be gone. as soon as i see what we are going to buy i will place my order. since i am going through a broker and many of these plants come from different growers the shipping dates will need to be co-ordinated. and they won't get any clearer on when that will be until i actually place a real order.

PLANT SIZE
all plants are in 72 count trays.

spreadsheet
http://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AjtJV24Qke7SdDRD...

VIRUS INDEXED
these are grown from tissue culture and are guaranteed free of canna virus.

TERMS OF THIS SALE
there is a 3.00 order fee for this sale. you may order in the colocasia/alocasia et al sale as well and pay one order fee. Texas residents pay 8.25% sales tax. plants are priced below. prices include tags and shipping to me from the company. Tentative shipping to me is guestimated to be around sept. 19. realistically this may need to be put off till sept. 26.

SHIPMENT TO YOU EITHER NOW OR IN THE SPRING
the prices below reflect shipping to you soon after i receive these plants. you may order and ask for spring delivery. if you do please add 1.00 per plant and you will need to pay half of the plant cost now.

PLEASE FOLLOW THIS SCHEDULE TO ARRIVE AT SHIPPING YOUR PLANTS FROM ME TO YOU.
1-3...................8.00
4-6...................10.00
7-12.................12.00
13-20...............15.00

list the plants you want along with price and the number of each you want.

Are these rhizomes or leafed out plants? What a wonderful selection. If you keep them over the winter, do they keep growing in your climate, or do you have to store them like we do up north?

Got Weeds then pull em!!
Here in the south they overwinter in the ground, certain varieties of canna don't do well in pots for the winter, i always put mine in the ground

Yes are these leafed out or bulbs

they're hardy in the ground here. they do die back. they ought to grow pretty fast here this fall and hope by next spring they'll be really big. however there is a nearby lady with several large greenhouses. i am thinking i might contract with her to keep them growing through the winter.

and these plants are actively growing with leaves.

also i will go back and write this by the variety name but several of the canna listed above are meant for water.

please note these canna are lab grown tissue cultured plants and are guaranteed to be free of canna virus.

also i added paton. it is a water canna as is stewart shuck. i have them listed as aquatic.

i am buying half trays on these canna. there is a nearly 20.00 per tray cost for doing this. so the prices here are a very good deal. just in case you didn't know. Big Grin

I have 10 yr old canna I'm trying to evict now:lol: I planted them at the corner of the apt and they are now 15 ft down from where they started. They overwinter outside here. I let the leaves brown and stay overwinter so if it freezes or snows there is some bit of protection for the other stuff planted around the canna. In the spring I wait till stuff melts and dries off a bit before I start chopping off the dead stuff. New ones are usually popping up all over the place by then.

However....I do like a few of these soooo...

2 Blueberry Sparkler
2 Ermine
2 Extravaganza
2 Lemon Punch
2 Sweet Gypsy
