| For those who think Clematis have to have sun -- nope, not all! Brushwood (one of my favorite sources, bigger prices but also nicely established plants) lists the following common large-flowered clems as SHADE tolerant: Nelly Moser Dr. Ruppel Henryi Most will grow and bloom just fine in partial shade... Brushwood's site doesn't list most of the varieties in this sale, but they do specifically mentions the following from MamaJ's list for PART SHADE (or full sun) in its descriptions. I noted length/height, too, for those of you who might want to let them just scramble around rather than climb. Blue Light (6-8 ft) Huvi (6-8 ft) Patricia Ann Fretwell (6-8 ft) Maria Louise Jenson (6-8 ft) Rituaal (6-7 feet) Sano No Mirasaki (3-6 feet) Veronica's Choice (8-10 ft) Circles of Support for Breast Cancer I'm learning to dance in the rain! Thank you, Sally & Chris. |

Do the prices at the top include shipping to MamaJ's? Circles of Support for Breast Cancer I'm learning to dance in the rain! Thank you, Sally & Chris. |

| I'll start my order with these, please! 1 Blue Light 1 Patricia Ann Fretwell 1 Sano No Mirasaki I couldn't help browsing more varieties... Does anybody else love love love 'Phyllis'? Pink blooms with rose bars and lots of petals, looks almost like a double flowering Bees Knees. Maybe we can talk MamaJ into adding it to the list of possibilities, if it's one she can get... ? Circles of Support for Breast Cancer I'm learning to dance in the rain! Thank you, Sally & Chris. |
