OK, can I have 1 set of each please of the daylilies along with the maple? I'm running out of space for my daylilies..  I may have to open up a new section in the back yard for them. How do they tolerate extreme drought & heat? I'm talking between my roses... I have a ton of space in the back yard that is just weeds (I've been slowly but surely working my around the yard removing all the weeds & putting down weedblock & mulch, only have about another 110ft x 10x left..   ). I've got lilacs in many of the spots, but I want something for between the roses. I was gonna put bluebeards but they seem to like me a bit too much and have gotten HUGE, like 4' around huge.  I don't even have a spot for the maple, but I've always wanted a glowing embers since I saw one a few years ago. I just have to be much much better at watering it. | i can attest to this skie...................all my dl's lived just fine thru the ghastly summer of 2011. i never water either. never fertilize. so they lived in texas thru it all. daylilies and iris...........if texas can't kill em well then you and colorado sure can't kill em. lol. and for whatever reason...........my daylilies have never bloomed so well or for as long as they have this year. |

| Mama - Well, I haven't killed a daylily yet, but I don't have that many, only about 40 or so. I got in about 15 little babies earlier this year & a few are trying to bloom. | well we have humidity sometimes. i guess we have more than you. but skie when it's 110 for 4 months, no rain to speak of for 2 years..........it ain't too humid out there. lol. and i have killed dl's. but texas ain't. |
