| Poppy so sorry to hear that the cat got in your container! We used to have stray cats at our old house and they would sit right in the middle of our perennials leaving a giant hole! Grr.....it is very frustrating! Becky, the soap will be fine for the plants as long as it's in moderation. I have a picture of a container I put the soap on you can see how much to use. You can re-apply it after a rain or as needed  Thank-you Rita! I love those roses in your avatar!
