Oh, hush you. She needs to sit down sometime.
Hilarious!

It has vinyl siding but it could use washing, now that you mention it. Be nice to get to that before winter.

I'm curious, how many of you guys have your own cubits and what are the subjects? I have a cubit but nobody can read it. I use it for keeping track of my information. I have a forum for my goats and a thread for each one. I have a forum for my horses and a thread for each one. I have a forum for my chickens and one for my gardening and another for my writing projects. I also have a forum I call daily happening. I use it kinda like a diary.

I don't have a cubit... it's all I can do to keep up w/the conversations on the one's I'm on. If I had my own A) it'd be depressing 'cause no one would visit, B)I'd never get anything done... I get little enough done as it is. Hilarious! I sure don't need more excuses.

I wish there was one, too, but I don't think many folks actually homestead... seems more like folks just like to read about it. In any case, I don't feel like moderating one. I'm still coming back from my summer slump. I go to the farm cubit, but it's pretty quiet. You think maybe folks are just plumb wore out? Blinking

i don't have a cubit but a few cubit owners have extended the opportunity for my wife to mention her cookbook and where it can be bought. she just had a meet the authors day at barnes and nobel here in are area. had a godo turn out and she sold a dozen or so books but alot of people stopped to brose through the book and to take her business cards showing her own website.

cheryl - don't even think about washing the siding. for 50 dollars you can rent a machne all day to clean the siding. you sure have a lot of cubits uinfortunately i am not too interested in animals except when i see them on the kitchen table.

you all have a nice day

I only have 1 cubit. Those are forums in the one cubit. I call my cubit Musings if a Displaced Cajun.

Barnes and Nobels!! Deb has hit the big time. I tip my hat to you. You go Girl!!

We did not make it to church this morning. DH is breathing better but still very congested and running a low grade fever. It's going around but everything hits him hard.

Frank, I bought the cookbook a couple of months ago. You know, Mike, is the chef and I don't cook. Problem is...I have been on an "Eat This, Not That" style of eating since January. Have lost 28 pounds and am very concious of what I eat. That being said, we are sort of waiting until I have maintained for a bit before venturing into such a rich and wonderful array of food. I could gain weight just by reading the recipes! She is a terrific cook.

We are doing much better. DH is still wiped out by the treatments and not much help with the work yet but he is getting better all the time. I can keep going as long as he is getting better. i have to go get some hay tomorrow. we are expecting a frost but hoping not a freeze.

We're well below freezing every morning now; around 20ยบ. Sunny during the day, so still pleasant to work outside once it warms up. Big Grin But sooooo much to do before the snow flies, & once again I'm fixin' to leave town. Rolling my eyes. Want to make a big batch of pumpkin butter for holiday gifts this year. Yum!

Have you had a chance to make any more cheese?
