Well, Dan, I grew up in a rural town outside of Buffalo, NY... winters here are far, far easier than winters there. Mainly because we get a lot of sun. In Buffalo, it is grey from Oct. till April, pretty much. Here, we get on average 246 sunny days, in Buffalo it is about 55 sunny days per year. Yet I will tell you very honestly, snow makes almost everything more difficult. It is very fun to go to the snow to ski and play, it is not as fun living in the snow. Though, I do love the seasons here.
