Picture is an arm-wrap shawl that Sistah Judy has surprised me with. On each end are traced sistahs' hands. Ain't it beautiful? I can't get over how 16 sistahs can keep their mouths shut!! When I'm feeling low, I just drape the shawl over me, and feel the hugs!! It's also used as a prayer shawl.   |

| Hi Jaye, love the shawl, warms your body and your soul. We are downstate again, decided last minute to surprise our daughter for her b'day, heading back up tomorrow. Crazy weather, everyone is calling me wanting to know if we have snow....not any more.... all are wanting to come up snowmobiling. Good for traveling though, it can just wait until I'm safely down in TN and then snow up there all it wants. |

| It's getting chilly up here Linda. But still much warmer than usual. We still have NO snow on the ground here.!!! After 2 feet in Oct - this is unreal. However, it is soupposed to change tomorrow and the weatherliars are calling for 6-8 inches starting tonight. We shall see. The last time they said that we got the 2 feet!!!! Glad to see everyone is recovering from the football mania. Sometimes it's good to be in the north!!!! Go hockey!!! |

| Whew - what a day yesterday! Going to be better today, f'sure! Between the snow, ice, and blowing winds....... On the way to work I did a 180 deg turn on the off-ramp and was facing the car "behind me"  Then, I guess I was "distracted" by it and left my electrical on in my car, so the battery died and I didn't find out until I went to leave at the end of the day.  An angel-coworker had some booster cables and stayed for an hour while my car charged. Yes, he had a meeting, but I don't think it would have lasted that long if I hadn't needed him to stay. I had a meeting at 7pm last night and my car started like a dream.........  |

My brother's just waiting to hear about the job he got in Sept...... waiting for the restaurant building to be finished. It's at the U of Manitoba. They said Nov, then Dec, then Jan when the renos are to be finished......... |

Yikes! Happy Friday the 13th to me. This is what I woke up to. Had to go clear at least the porch off while I could still open the door. about 8 " now. |
