I love the spring when everything starts to come to life. I enjoy taking an early morning walk around the yard and see what's come up over night.

Spring means taxes, making hopeful lists and plans, finishing leaf clean-up from the fall, ammending soil, getting out yard furniture, washing stuff ....lots of work. I DO love that first nice morning of walking the woods with the dawg while he catalogues the scents of his pleasures and seeing all the green sprouts poke their heads up through the last bits of snow and opening windows to air out the closeness of winter. But it seems that summer, before the first raking of the fall, is the chance to sit down in the comfort of the sun, laugh with neighbors, and enjoy the beauty of the efforts. It's a toss-up but it seems to be what I spend the rest of the year working toward.

Okay I am the oddball! I can't vote because I like ALL Seasons! They all have their plus and minus points. Good and bad you get it! I want to experience all 4 seasons every year even if some of them seem a bit too long.

I agree VES. I like experiencing all the seasons BUT winter is a tough one for me. I like it but I'm not crazy about the cold and early dark evenings.

Yep Dawn...the light shortage of winter is probably what keeps it from being a favorite season for me. I LOVE playing with the dawg in the snow as well as clearing my own and neighbor's drives and paths up into the woods with my tractor but daytime is WAAAY too short. Good point.

Yes the evenings are way to short. But then it is time for a good book or tv show or to even draw up plants for next years gardening. Playing on the puter with no guilt feeling. My the list goes on!

Hate to be a weirdo [yet I do it all the time!] but I really like fall. I always feel really energized, the air smells wonderful, and it's a "nesty" and "comfy" time of year, to me.

Paula...right there with ya' but I have a large wooded lot. In addition to carrying in container plants, winterizing cars, washing and putting away lawn furniture, I set #/tarps/day guidlines and even when I can fulfill them, I'm never assured to complete the bigger goal before the snow flies. I love that season too but know what lies beneath when it melts.....never give it up while I can still do it though. Here's a PIX of Inky in one of my leaf piles (I have several in the woods)...before it was close to complete.
